A team from the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) University Network-Quality Assurance completed their site visit assessment from July 21 to 23 for two undergraduate degree programs in UP Diliman (èAV) on the way to certification.
The assessment covered the Bachelor of Science in Biology and Bachelor of Science in Family Life and Child Development programs under the èAV College of Science (CS) and the èAV College of Home Economics, respectively.

The assessment team for èAV, led by Wan Ahmad Kamil, PhD of the Universiti Sains Malaysia, toured the program facilities, conducted interviews with program chairpersons and coordinators, university and college administrators, faculty members, quality assurance officers, students, and other stakeholders.

At the closing session on July 21 at the Institute of Biology Auditorium, UP Assistant Vice President for Academic Affairs (Quality Assurance) Alyssa Peleo-Alampay said the process “reminds us that it is inherently and essentially an opportunity for self-reflection and learning.”
It was at the hybrid closing session where the team presented their preliminary findings, provided initial observations, and gave recommendations for the continuous improvement of the assessed programs.
